Quentin Du Verdier

organist

Originally from Corrèze in central France, Quentin du Verdier has exemplary experience. Having studied at the Versailles Conservatoire and graduated from the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMD), he has won four top international prizes: Pierre de Manchicourt, Florentz, Darasse, and the first Elizabeth B. Stephens International Competition in Atlanta. In the Darasse Competition, he was also named “Young Organist of the Year” by ECHO, an association of European cities with historic organs. Because of this, he went on an international tour in 2022, performing in France and abroad as a soloist and with various groups. Tour concerts were held in the Royal Chapel of Versailles, Paris, Poitiers, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Belgium and Switzerland.

Keen to develop music in his region, Quentin has been working with the choirs of Ensemble Scolaire Edmond Michelet in Brive-la-Gaillarde since September 2022.
